1. Scope and Acceptance

Herring Global Technology Services Pte. Ltd. (“Herring Global,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides this Site to share information about our company, services, and career opportunities. By visiting, browsing, or otherwise using any portion of this Site, you (the “User” or “you”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. These Terms govern your access to and use of our Site, including any content, forms, or interactive features (e.g., job-application form) provided herein.

b) No Registration Required

This Site does not require you to create an account or log in. You may browse all publicly accessible content without registration.

c) Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after such changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Permitted Use and License

a) Limited, Non-Exclusive License

Subject to these Terms, Herring Global grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  1. View, download (for your personal, non-commercial use), and print individual pages of the Site’s publicly available content; and
  2. Submit a job application through any forms provided on the Site, subject to Section 5 below.

b) Restrictions

You agree not to, and you will not permit others to:

  1. Modify, reproduce, publicly display, distribute, transmit, scrape, or create derivative works from any content (text, graphics, logos, photos, video, audio, or code) on the Site, except as explicitly permitted herein;
  2. Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access, index, or extract any data from the Site;
  3. Bypass or attempt to bypass any security or access control measures;
  4. Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
  5. Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or for any purpose that is prohibited by these Terms; or
  6. Harvest or collect email addresses or other personal information from the Site without permission.

If you print, copy, download, share, or repost any part of our Site in violation of these Terms, your permission to use the Site will end immediately, and you must, at our discretion, either return or destroy any copies you have made.

3. No Reliance on Information

The content on this Site is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not intended to constitute professional, legal, tax, or investment advice, and should not be relied upon as such. Herring Global makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content on this Site is accurate, complete, or up to date. The Site may contain links or references to third-party websites, services, or resources. These links are provided solely for your convenience. Herring Global does not control, endorse, or assume any responsibility for the content, policies, or practices of those third-party sites. Accessing any linked website is at your own risk.

5. Job Application Submissions

a) Purpose of Submission

If you choose to submit a job application or upload any materials (e.g., résumé, cover letter, portfolio) through the Site’s Careers section, you agree that all information you provide is accurate, truthful, and complete. You represent that you have the rights to any documents or materials you submit.

b) Data Handling

By submitting an application, you authorize Herring Global to collect, use, store, and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may share your application materials with relevant personnel (e.g., HR department, hiring managers) for the purpose of evaluating your candidacy.

c) No Guarantee of Employment

Submission of an application does not guarantee any job offer or employment. All employment decisions are at the discretion of Herring Global, subject to applicable laws.

d) Retention and Deletion

We reserve the right to retain or delete any application materials at any time, in accordance with our internal record-retention policies and applicable data-protection laws. If you wish to request deletion of your application data, please contact us as described in Section 13 below.

6. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct

a) Lawful Use Only

You agree to use the Site for lawful purposes only. You shall not use the Site to engage in any activity that violates any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.

b) Prohibited Content and Conduct

You must not:

  1. Post, upload, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, or infringes the intellectual-property rights of any third party;
  2. Upload or distribute any malicious code (viruses, trojans, worms) or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems;
  3. Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site or any servers or networks connected to the Site;
  4. Solicit personal information from other visitors to the Site;
  5. Use the Site to send spam, bulk messages, or any unsolicited communications; or
  6. Take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure.

Any breach of this provision may constitute a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1993 of Singapore. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and will co-operate fully with them, including disclosing your identity. In the event of such a breach, your right to use the Site will cease immediately.

Any link to a third-party site does not imply endorsement by Herring Global of that site’s content, policies, or practices. You access and use any third-party site at your own risk.   2. The content, advertisements, products, or services on or available from those sites; or
  3. Your use of or inability to use any such third-party site.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

a) Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

b) Jurisdiction

You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising under or relating to these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts of the Republic of Singapore. You hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts for the purpose of litigating all such disputes.

c) Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be struck, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

d) No Waiver

No failure or delay by Herring Global in exercising any right under these Terms will operate as a waiver of that right.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any other documents we refer to here, make up the complete agreement between you and Herring Global. They replace any previous discussions, emails, or understandings—whether spoken or written—about the matters covered in these Terms.

If we’ve made any specific arrangements with you that differ from what’s stated here, those must be documented in writing and agreed to by both parties to be valid.
